Guitarist Eric McKenna Spreng has forged his own distinctive sound from some of the world's great musical traditions. Weaving together threads of Spanish flamenco, traditional Celtic, Classical, and Americana, Eric's original music is a contemporary tapestry of historic impressions.

SYNKOFA at Whitmore Library | December 11th | 7pm-8pm Join the Celtic jazz ensemble SYNKOFA for an evening of roots music played with a gypsy flair. This free concert is for all ages. Featuring Theresa Ellis on violin, Stephen Wesson on the upright bass and Eric McKenna Spreng on guitars, this trio will transport you to distant times and places before bringing you back with eyes and ears wide open! Eric performs solo acoustic instrumental guitar, is a member of the Celtic Jazz Ensemble SYNKOFA, and plays electric lead guitar and mandolin for the rock band November Hotel. His musical repertoire also includes the ukulele, Celtic Bouzouki, and 12-string guitar.
