Watch the show here Art Exhibit Opening at the Millcreek Library | November 5th The public is invited to join the Millcreek Arts Council for a reception for artist Mirsada Busuladzic. Mirsada is a local visual artist originally from Bosnia and Herzegovina. Her art will be displayed throughout November at the Millcreek Library (2266 East Evergreen Avenue.) Please join us at a reception celebrating her art Friday, November 5, from 6-7 pm. Light refreshments will be provided as well as live music by instrumental guitarist Eric McKenna. Come see the live musical performances, browse the bake sale for Scottish shortbread, learn about our local clans, and find fun activites for the whole family! Admission is free and this event is open to the public. On Sunday we host a special worship service called Th’ Kirkin’ o’ th’ Tartan. During this service representatives of various Scottish clans with in the Salt Lake Area present their clan’s tartan to be blessed by the pastors. Overview
Eric performs solo acoustic instrumental guitar, is a member of the Celtic Jazz Ensemble SYNKOFA, plays electric lead guitar & mandolin for the rock band November Hotel, and performs in a duet with cellist Aisha Zuiter. He directs music at the Open Classroom charter school, teaches private instrument lessons, and hold a master's degree from the University of Utah in Fine Arts Teaching. He currently chairs the Music Committee of the Millcreek Arts Council |
